Large composite components such as wind turbine blades require consistent thermal conditions during manufacturing. Recently, Hengde completed 7 Water Temperature Control Units (TCUs) for a customer in Denmark, a country with a strong presence in the global wind energy industry. The equipment is now being prepared for packaging and will soon be shipped to the customer's production facility.
For this project, the customer required more than a standard water heating solution. Based on the actual process requirements, Hengde made a modification to the conventional configuration by adding a 300L external water tank, providing additional water capacity for the wind turbine blade production process.

The HWM-100-90 Water Temperature Control Unit is designed for high-capacity water heating and circulation. With a 100kW heating output and temperature control up to 120°C, it provides a stable source of hot water for industrial processes requiring continuous thermal management.
The addition of the 300L external water tank is one of the key customized features of this order. Rather than simply supplying a standard machine, Hengde adjusted the configuration according to the customer's production requirements. In our view, this is one of the most important aspects of industrial temperature control: the equipment should adapt to the process, rather than forcing the process to adapt to the equipment.
Water Temperature Control for Wind Turbine Blade Production
Wind turbine blades are typically manufactured from composite materials, and temperature can have an important influence on processes such as material curing and thermal treatment. A stable Water Temperature Control Unit (TCU) helps provide consistent heating conditions and supports more uniform production results.
Hengde has experience developing customized temperature control equipment for composite materials, wind energy, new energy, plastics, and other industrial applications. Depending on the project, our water TCUs can be configured with different heating capacities, water tank sizes, pumps, temperature ranges, and control components.
We appreciate the trust of our Danish customer and are pleased to contribute our temperature control expertise to another renewable energy project.
